Les Beaux Jours

Caroline, a 60-year-old recently retired dentist, finds herself with a lot of free time and little to do. Her children decide to help by enrolling her in a “Beaux Jours” senior activity club, where she attends classes like pottery, theater, and computing. 

At the club, she meets Julien, a much younger computer instructor. Despite their age difference, a passionate romantic relationship develops between them.  Caroline rediscovers joy, desire, and a sense of freedom — but her husband Philippe eventually realizes what’s happening. 

Through this affair, Caroline undergoes a personal transformation: she shakes off the monotony of retirement, reclaims her independence, and embraces a new chapter in her life
