“Frotter Frotter” is a four-episode miniseries by Marion Vernoux about exploited hotel chambermaids in Lille who decide to go on strike. Led by Solange, a strong-willed supervisor, and joined by Michèle, a queer activist, and Fanny, a struggling lawyer, these women from very different backgrounds unite to demand better working conditions. The show is inspired by the real 2019–2021 strike of chambermaids at a Paris hotel.
