Comme des reines follows Samia, a teenage girl who feels suffocated at home and desperately seeks freedom and belonging. She is drawn by her friend Louise and Louise’s boyfriend Nico into what seems like an easy-money opportunity — but it quickly becomes clear that she has been pulled into a prostitution network.

As Samia experiences the harsh reality of exploitation, Jessica, another young woman in the group, discovers she is pregnant, adding tension and urgency to their situation. The three girls navigate manipulation, fear, and false promises while trying to figure out how to escape Nico’s control.

The screenplay exposes the psychological mechanisms of grooming, the illusion of independence, and the emotional bonds that trap vulnerable teenagers. Ultimately, it’s a story about survival, solidarity, and the difficult path to reclaiming one’s freedom.
